Dr. Pillai attended college at the USC (1988-1992) and graduated medical school at the Kasturba Medical College - Manipal, India (1992-1997) he did his family practice residency at the North Shore University Hospital in Glen Cove, NY from 2000 until 2004; he was the Medical Director at La Clinica de la Raza in Pittsburg, CA from 2004 until last year, at the same time he also taught at the U.C. Davis School of Medicine.
